Welcome to the Immaculate Conception web site. The web site address is www.icestl.com, which stands for Immaculate Conception East St Louis, with the hope of sharing our memories and stories by keeping our past alive for future generations. Remember being an altar boy and maybe had been given the honor to serve at midnight Mass? It was also a time when the young girls decorated the altar for Easter or Christmas and in the spring readying the outdoor statue of Mary for May crowning. With this site we celebrate our past as the next generation looks toward the future, while embracing our precious memories. On this site we will list all events at Immaculate Conception, plus the East St Louis Lithuanian Chapter has its own page. Books on Immaculate Conception may also be located here with information and links on how to acquire them. Don't be bashful, this is your site so feel free to add your memories,pictures and/or stories. We invite you to explore the Immaculate Conception web site. As you travel through the pages, take a moment to stop and reflect so that you may enjoy your memories of the time you spent either at school or in church celebrating the Mass. There is also a page of prayers for use as we strive to become a better person and a better Catholic. If this site brings joy or a smile to someone’s face or a moment of peace and happiness in their life then it has accomplished its purpose. Many, many prayers have been offered to God at Immaculate Conception Lithuanian Catholic Church, with many more prayers to be offered to Him in the years to come. This site is dedicated to the memory of the late Bishop Deksnys, a kind and loving former pastor of Immaculate Conception, who was an inspiration to all he met. He truly was God's servant. Help me to drink of Christ's Truth, and fill my heart with His Love so that I may serve You in faith and love and reach eternal life. In the Sacrament of the Eucharist You give me the joy of sharing Your Life. Keep me in Your presence. Let me never be separated from You and help me to do Your Will.
